Reaching Players in New Ways with FarmVille 2: Country Escape

by on July 17, 2014

At Zynga we pride ourselves on understanding you, our players. Hundreds of millions of you have turned games like FarmVille into rich social experiences centered on relaxing, collaborating and connecting with friends and family. We know you have a choice when you power on your phone, tablet or computer. Time is a finite commodity, and we are honored that you choose to spend some of your time with us every day.

We always want to make sure we’re putting the best experiences in front of you at the right times and in the right places. All of our efforts start at one central point: understanding what you want out of a game and how we can better deliver it to you.

We are also unlocking new ways to reach you through different channels. Over the last month, we kicked off Zynga’s first ever TV advertising campaign for FarmVille 2: Country Escape across hit summer TV shows. The commercials are airing across select network and cable broadcast in the U.S. Each commercial illustrates the core benefit that FarmVille 2: Country Escape provides: a welcome break and escape in your day, anywhere and anytime you want.

Last month marked FarmVille’s 5th birthday, a special milestone that we are celebrating with the Summer of FarmVille. Along with our TV ads, we are rolling out special surprises across FarmVille, FarmVille 2 and FarmVille 2: Country Escape for players to enjoy.

Every day, we are inspired by seeing how FarmVille has helped people connect with one another in meaningful ways. Whether it’s Sonya Reynolds, who married her childhood friend and used FarmVille 2 to solidify their relationship, or Melissa Cunningham, who uses FarmVille 2 as a means to teach her son math, we know for many of you FarmVille is more than just a game. This week we are proud to honor stories like Sonya’s and Melissa’s with the FarmVille community.

Here’s to five years of connections through FarmVille and uncovering new ways to connect with you, our players, in new ways.
